Default Splinter barrage build?

The title basicly sums it up. Im using barrage, splinter weapon, savage shot, distracting shot, zojun's shot, lightning reflexes, whirling defence and res signet.

I was just wondering if there was a more efficient/variation of it.

btw how do i post the icons of the skills

The core of the build is Barrage + splinter, and that's it, as that's your main focus. It's always worth it to pack d-shot or savage shot or both, an evasion/runspeed stance is handy, a self-heal is handy, a rez is handy.

In practice, the vast majority of the time you'll be either casting splinter weapon or barraging, so the rest is just whatever you want.

As for your build, it's mostly fine. Personally I'd drop whirling and LR for Natural Stride and Nightmare Weapon (extra damage and self-healing thru lifesteal), and since you're /Rt, Death Pact Signet is far superior to res signet.

When i go with splinter, i take barrage and volley on the same bar. With a short vamp bow and rapid fire you'll be like a machine gun.

Since Barrage and volley are really low cost and have a really fast recharge, you can spam them "Ad Noseam"

Rapid Fire is a preparation isn't it?

Volley and Barrage strip preparations. so that's a useless wasted skill slot.

Anyway yeah, your bar looks ok to me, but if you're taking heroes, take a N/Rt support hero with splinter weapon, and have them use it on you and any other physicals, then you have a slot spare on your bar.

Put Splinter Weapon on a Rit with 14 Channeling. Don't run it on a Ranger.

Or IMO I prefer Great Dwarf Weapon + Ebon Battle Standard of Honor on a Mind Blaster. 2 or 3 Barragers with GDW can keep an entire group pinned down ad infinitem while dealing 50-100 per arrow.

You don't need Volley with Barrage. Volley is better for the most part since it allows you to take something like Broad Head Arrow, and 4 arrows is generally the most you will ever get out of either. Barrage is really only good for Charr and Stone Summit areas since you'll frequently find 5+ of them clumped together.

Type this [skill] [/skill] and put whatever skill you want in between. Make sure there is no space in between [skill] [/skill]. Also note that PvE and some skills have won't show regardless.

This is a much better suggestion than actually taking splinter on your bar. Hero's are pretty good about using splinter.
